Last Saturday we went to Air Itam Dam for an evening walk. It has been awhile since the last time I visited this place but is the first for hubby and the kids. There is a walking path with a distance of 2.8km around the dam. It was lovely walking under the trees and the kids got to see many types of plants and insects. There were also monkeys at certain spots. One of them tried to come near to Jared when he walk passed them, but hubby quickly carried him away. Looks like monkey also has the concept of "buli kecil". When we reached the other side of the dam, we were able to catch a good view of Georgetown, unfortunately it was kind of hazy on that day.

oh, I have never heard of Air Itam Dam before too. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGuess we've never paid attention to those kind of places when we were young. Only when we have kids, then we start to look for places like that for leisure walk, haha...
MY, That's so true... we tend to take things for granted most of the time :)
ReplyDeleteSeems like a nice walk. I must remember to visit this place on my next trip to Penang.
ReplyDeleteMun, yes it's a nice place to visit if you have extra time in Penang
