Talent Week - N2

Same as last year, it was talent week in Jared's kindy last week. As shared in previous post, he participated in the story telling contest. His teacher was very nice to help us record a video during his session.

When we went to pick him up yesterday, we were surprised that he had won 3 prizes in the talent week contests. 1st prize for story telling, 2nd prize for writing and 2nd prize for IQ test. You were definately happy with so many toys to play with. Good job my boy...

Father and Son - Arts and Crafts

Lately, Jared kept pestering daddy to do arts and crafts with him. Few days ago, he asked daddy to make him a castle, so daddy had to look for some ideas on the Internet and found a site which gave details on how to build a castle using cardboard. Jared helped with the coloring while daddy did the drawing, cutting and gluing. After that, he even wanted some figurines where he created stories of a King and Queen living in the castle.

This month onwards, Jared officially attends full daycare as his babysitter is unable to babysit him anymore due to unforeseen reason. So far he is adapting well, but I now have some cooking to do after work to prepare extra food for his dinner.

Father's Day 2013

Emily drew a card for daddy and it was very nice of her daycare teacher to help her post the card through mail to our home. Jared also made daddy a sun shade in his kindy.

2nd Semester School Holidays

I have not updated anything for the past 2 months, my blog has already grown fungus. There are so many things that came up that I didn't have time to sit down peacefully to write anything. Now while the kids are down at the pool, I am forcing myself to jot down our memoirs during the most recent school holidays.

We went back to MIL's place for a few days. While there, we took the opportunity to bring the kids to Pusat Sain Negara. There were quite a few things that the kids could experience but disappointed with some of the equipments which were already out of order.

One of the nights, we also went to i-City Shah Alam with my inlaws. The lighting decorations were very impressive but nothing else was exciting. The kids wanted to try the ferris wheel, so they went with their aunty and cousin.
