Finally! We've Moved Into Our New Home.

We have been extremely busy for the past few months due to our new house renovations. As with any renovations, a lot of  time and energy had to be thrown into it, all the way from initial design till the last piece of the renovation works. Not forgetting all the arguments with the ID.

On 8 September 2013, we finally moved into our new home with a minimal amount of incomplete jobs. My Dad and Mum came over early in the morning to perform some simple rituals. My brother and sister-in-law also visited us later that day.

Up till today, we have not finished unpacking all our stuffs, we still do not have a dining table, our windows blinds will only be installed at the end of this week, grass at our backyard that needs cutting, not mentioning the uncleared rubbish in our previous condo. Very tiring and yet fulfilling.

We have stayed in our condo for slightly more than 14 years, so you can imagine the amount of "rubbish" that we have accumulated over time. A lot of sweet memories that we have cherished in our old nest, to mention a few; our wedding ceremony and both my pregnancies of Emily and Jared. The kids don't seem to miss their previous home but I surely do especially the beautiful scenery of huge trees which flowers during spring time frame every year.

Goodbye to our Old Nest and we look forward to a new beginning in our New Nest.

3rd Semester School Holiday Activities

I was having problem to write my post on blogger for the past few weeks. Initially I thought it was some security settings on my notebook, but later I found out that it was due to IE8, so now I am switching to Google Chrome.
Updating the activities that we did during the 3rd Semester Break. We didn't plan for any travelling since we were busy with the house renovations. Managed to bring the kids to the beach on the 1st day of Hari Raya. There was a huge crowd and we were surprised to see so many picnickers on that day. This time Jared was brave enough to step on the sand without any fussing :).

Hubby's company had a Family Day Event on one of the Saturdays. There were lots of games for everyone to play and food and drinks were served too. Emily and Jared were happy and excited to be able to visit daddy's workplace.

Emily's daycare had also arranged some school holiday activities for the kids. One of her favourite activities was cooking time. Checkout the video that her daycare teacher had sent to me where she was cooking fried rice.
